Workshop with children's author Gerry Boland
We were delighted to have the opportunity to have workshops with Gerry. We had 3 different workshops on different aspects of English, while developing our vocabulary throughout.
During our first workshop we used the narrative style of writing, telling a story about a duck and a fox. We used lots of descriptive writing using some new words we learnt also. In out next workshop we were looking at poetry. We created our own poems based on different letters of the alphabet. For our last workshop, we created poems called " I am I am I am". We will share some of our work on the blog over the next while.
